Naugatuck-Alberto J. Fonseca, age 48, passed away on Thursday August 31, 2017 at Waterbury Hospital.
He was born in Waterbury, CT on April 17, 1969, son of Joaquim and Maria E. (Amador) Fonseca of Naugatuck. Alberto was a lifelong Naugatuck resident and was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church in Waterbury.
Besides his loving parents, he is survived by his daughters, Jillian Fonseca and her partner Sean Campbell, and Shelby Fonseca, all of Vermont; his grandson Troy; his brothers, Antonio F. Fonseca and his wife Millie and Manuel J. Fonseca, all of Naugatuck; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held on Friday September 8, 2017 at 10 a.m. at the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald-Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main Street, Naugatuck. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
