Naugatuck-Antonio Vidal, age 81, husband of Julieta (Domingues) Vidal, passed away on Sunday January 28, 2018 at his home.
He was born in Lousa, Portugal on October 19, 1936, son of the late Antonio and Rosalina (Vidal) Vidal. Antonio came with his family to the United States, and resided in Naugatuck for the past 44 years. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church and was a member of Clube Uniao Portuguesa in Naugatuck. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and playing cards.
Besides his loving wife Julieta of 55 years, Antonio leaves his son Carlos Vidal and his wife Gina of East Haven; his three grandchildren, Teresa Rose Vidal, Antonio Carlos Vidal and Gianni Glenn Vidal; his brother Annibal Vidal of Portugal; his sister Emilia Vidal of Florida; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday February 1, 2018 at 12 p.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 2071 Baldwin Street, Waterbury.
