Ashley R McIntyre

Ashley R. McIntyre 25 of Naugatuck passed away on Thursday, April 09, 2015 at home under the care of hospice after one year courageous battle with cancer. Ashley was born March 27, 1990 and was the daughter of Allen R. McIntyre and Gale J. McIntyre (DeNomme) of Naugatuck.  Ashley graduated Naugatuck high school in 2008 and was employed at Macy’s and then Walmart for a short time.

Ashley had a passion for horseback riding. She enjoyed swimming, drawing, spending time in Vermont and loved her four cats; Lidy, Percy, Maxie and JJ. She loved elephants, manatees and foxes but most of all she loved her precious little boy Oliver who brought her joy when her skies were gray. She will be forever missed. We would like to thank the staff at St. Vincent in Bridgeport and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York and Vitas for the care of Ashley. She is survived by her son Oliver Michael Makowski of Shelton, her fiancé Michael Dennis Makowski, grandparents Larry and Sally McIntyre of Milton, VT., grandmother Jeannette DeNomme of Naugatuck, two uncles, four aunts several cousins and was predeceased by her grandfather Joseph A. DeNomme.

There will be a gathering at Naugatuck Valley Memorial Funeral home located at 240 N Main St, Naugatuck, CT 06770 on Sunday, April 12, 2015 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A memorial mass will be held at St Vincent Ferrer Church on Monday, April 13, 2015 at 11:00 am. located at 1006 New Haven Road, (Route 63), Naugatuck, CT 06770 In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to www.gofundme.com ashleymcintyre
