Cassandra Leigh Legge, 27, passed away unexpectedly on July 10, 2016, at St. Mary’s Hospital.
She was born in Waterbury, CT, on February 17, 1989, the daughter of Diane M. Marquis. She resided at the home of Diane and Dan Kean.
Cassandra was a Bright Spirit, and a Hippie at heart. She was fun loving and outgoing. She loved people, animals, and spending time outdoors.
Cassandra loved her job. She worked as an animal handler at Best Friends Pet Care in Bethany, and volunteered for various organizations.
She is survived by her sisters Jamie Rogers, Sara Green, Sarah Kean, and two brothers, Tim and Shayne Kean.
Memorial contributions can be made to small local animal shelters and/or Mr. Bones and Co., Inc., New York, NY.
A funeral service will be held at 9:00 am, on Tuesday, July 19, 2016, from Naugatuck Valley Memorial Funeral Home, 240 North Main St., Naugatuck, to Saint Anne’s Church, 515 S. Main St., Waterbury, for a 10:00 am Mass. Friends and family may call at the funeral home on Monday, July 18, 2016, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
