Naugatuck-Elenore L. Marroni, of Naugatuck, passed away at St. Mary's Hospital Vitas on Wednesday, January 11. She was 78 years old. Elenore was born in Naugatuck, CT, on March 8, 1938. She was the daughter of the late Robert James Irving, and Jean (Hedrick) Irving.
She started working at the age of 17, and worked as a legal secretary for Attorney Henry Marlor for 40 years. She also worked as a nanny, and a caregiver for many years.
Elenore is survived by her son Peter Marroni and his loving partner Marianne Tirico, of MA, her daughter Martha Marroni, her granddaughter Maya Marroni, and her sister Jannette Irving. She will be missed greatly by her loving family.

A Mass of Christian Burial held on Saturday, January 21, 11:00 am, at St. Mary's Church, 338 North Main St.,Naugatuck, followed by a burial in St. James Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet directly at the church.
