Naugatuck-Frank P. Wasbes, age 96, passed away on Monday November 9, 2015 at Paradigm Health Care of Prospect.
Mr. Wasbes was born May 24, 1919, son of the late Peter J. and Anna (Motiaytis) Wasbes. A lifelong resident of Naugatuck, he had worked for many years in the construction business. Frank proudly served his country in the United States Navy during World War II, and was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church.
He is survived by his son, Robert Wasbes and his wife Ruth of Naugatuck; his daughter Linda Wasbes of Worcester, MA; his grandchildren Kathleen Southard and Jeffrey Wasbes; his four great grandchildren, Zachary Southard, and Carson, Lucy and Anna Wasbes; and niece Christine and nephew John. Frank was predeceased by his brother Bronislaw Wasbes.
His funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, 301 Grant Street, Suite 900, Pittsburgh, PA 15219.
