Jean J. (Farrar) Becker, age 93, beloved wife of the late Charles W. Becker,
passed away peacefully at Norwood Nursing Home in Norwood, MA.,
on Saturday February 11, 2017.
Mrs. Becker was born in Naugatuck, CT on March 1, 1923, daughter of the late Louis and Rose (Giamo) Farrar. A longtime resident of Naugatuck, she retired from Uniroyal as a supervisor after 35 years of service.
Jean is survived by his her son, Joseph Becker and his wife Leslie of Norwood, Ma., her cherished grandchildren, Dylan and his wife Hailey Becker, Hannah Becker and Kathryn Sullivan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews whom she adored.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday February 17, 2017 at
11:00am at St. Francis Church, 318 Church Street, Naugatuck.
Calling hours will be held Friday morning at the Naugatuck
Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald-Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main
Street, Naugatuck from 9:30am to 10:30am. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery.
