Naugatuck-Marion (Jones) Mastropietro, age 103, widow of Frank Mastropietro, passed away on Tuesday April 12, 2016 at her home.
Marion was born in Naugatuck, CT on June 20, 1912, daughter of the late Frank and Elizabeth (Dermody) Jones. She was a graduate of Naugatuck High School, attended Post Business College, and was a lifelong resident of Naugatuck. She retired from the footwear division of Uniroyal, Inc. after 37 years of service and was a member of the AARP Chapter 495.
Mrs. Mastropietro is survived by her nephews, Robert Murtha of Naugatuck, and Emmett Murtha of Stamford. She was predeceased by her sister Marjorie Murtha.
Her funeral will be held on Thursday April 14, 2016 at 11:30a.m. from the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald-Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main Street, Naugatuck, to St. Francis of Assisi Church, 318 Church Street, Naugatuck, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30p.m. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery.
