Naugatuck-Mason Daniel Lucas, 6 year old son of Daniel and Stacey (Witkoski) Lucas, passed away on Friday January 23, 2015.
Mason was born on June 1, 2008 in New Haven, CT. Mason loved listening to Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, and Five Finger Death Punch, to name a few. He loved reading stories and looking at every picture. We also had our favorite Thursday routine… 5p.m. Spike “Cops.” As soon as the theme song started, he would clap and tell everyone to “shoosh” with his little finger.
Mason was the greatest blessing we were given. We were so blessed to be his parents, and Madisyn his sister. We love him more than words can say and miss him very much.
I want to say a special thanks to Kellie Marchinkoski and Bill Witkoski for all of your help during our hardest times, we thank you!! Also, thank you to everyone who has donated to his fund, and his Aunt Kelly G. and his cousin Lisa for setting it up. We love you, Mason, and always will. You’re my Hero!! Thank you also to the first responding officers and medical personnel.
Besides his parents of Naugatuck, he is survived by his brother, Michael Martin and his sisters, Madisyn and Heather Lucas. He also leaves his paternal grandparents, Richard and Barbara Hyman of Oxford, and his maternal grandmother, Kristine Witkoski of South Carolina. Mason also has many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who loved and supported him from the time he was born. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather F. William Witkoski
