Dear Eileen & family, My heart is really saddened to hear of your loss. Paul was a wonderful, kind and loving man. He has always had a special place in my heart and my family too. Paul was one of NPR's great scientists who treated everyone fairly and with a lot of respect. It was an honor for me to be his assistant and work with him in the Bethany facility. My sincere condolences go out to the whole McDonald family.

I am so sorry that you have lost Paul! Bud called last night to tell me. Paul was my good friend on Newton Terrace back in the Fifties before we moved up the hill to Jillson Circle back in the 50's. I remember some really good fights in our back yards. I think John or Jim was a retired IBM'er who knew our friends and fellow IBM'ers, Al and Millie Weber who lived in Guilford CT. I'm sorry that I've lost touch with them. I continue to live in Raleigh NC. I have 3 sons, 7 grandsons who live all over My husband John died 2 years ago and I just moved into a Retirement Community. Tough time for me. I miss my home of 50 years but, I am thankful for so many blessings. I send my condolences to the whole family. Your mom was so proud of each of you. My the Lord be with you and comfort you.

My deepest sympathies on the loss of Paul. Many years ago I worked with him at St. Mary's Pharmacy. He was a very kind man.
