Beacon Falls-Robert S. Lodziato, age 69, passed away on Sunday March 11, 2018 at Village Green Health Center in Forestville.
Mr. Lodziato was born in Waterbury, CT on March 21, 1948, son of the late Stanley and Wanda (Dobosz) Lodziato. A lifelong resident of Beacon Falls, he retired from Kerite Co. in Seymour after more than 20 years of service. Bob proudly served his country in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany. He was a parishioner of St. Michael’s Church and was a former altar server. He enjoyed listening to rock and roll music and attended many concerts with his brother Ron, as well as many vacations at Lake George.
Robert is survived by his brother, Ronald J. Lodziato of Beacon Falls, his uncle Robert Stauffer of Southington; his special caregivers, Sue Jovia and Amy Cruciani; and many cousins.
His funeral will be held on Thursday March 15, 2018 at 9 a.m. from the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald-Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main Street, Naugatuck, to St. Michael’s Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Burial with military honors will follow in St. James Cemetery.
