Branford-Scott Paul DeStefano, age 51, passed away on Thursday September 3, 2015 at his home.
Scott was born in Bridgeport, CT on May 19, 1964, son of Ralph G. and Maureen (Redmond) DeStefano of Naugatuck. A resident of Branford for the past twelve years, he enjoyed fishing, music, and was an accomplished guitarist.
Besides his parents, Scott is survived by his son, Scott Alexander Wheeler of Stratford; his brother Ralph J. DeStefano of Thomaston; his sisters, Darlene Dorosh of Plymouth and Audrey Rivera of Auburn, NH; his nieces and nephews, Kaeli and Ryan Dorosh, and Marissa, Joshua, and Anthony Rivera; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday September 10, 2015 at 11a.m. at St. Vincent Ferrer Church, 1006 New Haven Road, Naugatuck. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Scott Alexander Wheeler College Fund, C/O Darlene Dorosh, 310 South Street, Plymouth, CT 06782.
