NAUGATUCK- Mr. Vincent F."Vinny" Tortorici, 74, of Naugatuck passed away peacefully July 15th at Regal Care of Prospect from Hodgkins Lymphoma. He was the widower of Patricia (Bottomley) and Doreen (Webb) Tortorici.
Vinny was born in Waterbury October 6th, 1942, son of the late Pasquale and Irene (Adamski) Tortorici, and attended local schools. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was the owner and operator of D-V and Sons.
He was an avid fisherman and hunter, and loved camping and traveling.
He is survived by his son and daughter in law Pasquale and Michelle Tortorici; his daughter and son in law Christine Tortorici Riggs and Timothy Riggs, all of Naugatuck; sister Linda Soto of Waterbury; stepsons Timothy Cahill
of Alabama and Michael Cahill of Litchfield;step daughter Lirene Lorensen of Naugatuck. His pride and joy were his grandchildren Allison Rose and Vincent Tortorici, also several Nieces and Nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Francine Accetura.
ARRANGEMENTS- Friends are invited to visit the family Saturday July 22nd at Naugatuck Valley Memorial Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home 240 North Main Street Naugatuck from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M..
Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family
