Artur Dias Moura

Waterbury-Artur Dias Moura, age 63, husband of Maria (Campos) Moura, passed away at St. Mary’s Hospital.

He was born in Portugal on July 25, 1954, son of the late Joaquim Goncalves Dias De Moura and Ester Dias Moura.  Artur lived most of his life in the Naugatuck and Waterbury area, and was currently employed by I-84 Construction, JV.  He was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church and a member of the Portuguese Sports Club in Waterbury.

Besides his wife Maria Fatima, he leaves his children, Susan Moura of Portugal, Artur Santos Moura and Joaquim “Jack” Del Buono Moura, both of Waterbury; his brothers, Joao Moura of Waterbury, and Antonio Moura of Portugal; and other extended family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday March 17, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 2071 Baldwin Street, Waterbury.  Calling hours will be held on Saturday morning from 8 a.m. to 9: 30 a.m. at the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald-Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main Street, Naugatuck.  Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery.  To send an on-line condolence, please visit www.naugatuckvalleymemorial.com
