Denise Rebecca (Allard) Liguori

NAUGATUCK- Denise Rebecca (Allard) Liguori, 58, of Naugatuck, died unexpectedly April 10th, 2024, at Waterbury Hospital.

Denise was born in Waterbury August 10th, 1965, daughter of the late Donald R.  Allard and Patricia Jean (Franklin) Allard  Donnelly. She was employed by the State of Connecticut in the Department of Developmental Services. She worked at Southbury Training School for many years and later worked regionally. 

Denise was an active member of the Eagles Club in Naugatuck, serving as past president of the Ladies Auxiliary and becoming the first female to receive a key to the club. She was an avid crocheter. She also held an annual gingerbread decorating event at the holidays for friends and family for the past 35 years.

Denise leaves her sons Luigi Liguori of Asheville, N.C. and Durand Liguori and his girlfriend Courtney Williams of Oakville; brothers Don Allard of New Hampshire and Dan Allard and his girlfriend Sheila Murphy of Naugatuck; sisters Debra Moody and her husband Steve of New Hampshire and Diane Allard and her boyfriend Ed Norton of Bethany; grandchildren Logan Liguori, Liam Liguori and Chloe Moscato; bonus children Paige Marchant and Chase Marchant ; many nieces and nephews including her beloved niece Dawn Allard;  her former husband Louie Liguori and her dear friend Janette Steward. In addition to her parents, Denise was predeceased by her sister Donna Milrod and her step father Tom Donnelly.

ARRANGEMENTS- Friends may call at the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald-Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main Street, Naugatuck on Tuesday, April 16 , 2024  from 4:00 to 7:00 P. M.
