PLANTSVILLE- Jesse James Stankey, 41, of Plantsville, died unexpectedly Friday, March 29th, 2024.
Jesse was born in Bridgeport, Ct. May 10th, 1982, son of the late Stanley and Cheryl (Reynolds) Stankey. He was a graduate of Naugatuck High School. He was employed by Kapura General Contractors , working in home restoration.
Jesse loved sports, especially football, just as much as he loved talking junk about the professional players throughout the seasons. His favorite sports to watch, undoubtedly, were when his sons were playing.
Jesse was a special character. Regardless of life’s up and downs, Jesse was always ready with creative humor to make the ones he loved laugh. It filled his heart to make others laugh and have fun. He will be very missed.
Jesse leaves two sons Tyler Stankey and Trevor Stankey, both of Plantsville, and his brothers William Stankey of Plantsville and Jonathan Stankey.
