Naugatuck-Kenneth W. Secula, age 60, beloved husband of Kim (Krantz) Secula, passed away on Wednesday August 28, 2019 at the VITAS Innovative Care Unit at St. Mary’s Hospital.
He was born in Waterbury, CT on June 19, 1959, son of Mary (Manthey) Secula of Wolcott, and the late Thomas Secula. A longtime resident of Naugatuck, Ken had worked at Model Garage in Waterbury as an auto mechanic for 28 years. He was an active member of the community who enjoyed helping others. He was an avid collector of music and movies, as well as an avid bowler and New York Giants fan.
Besides his loving mother and wife Kim, Ken leaves his daughter, Autumn (Fortier) Burke and her husband David of Prospect; his grandchildren, Katelyn, Krystal and David; his brother Thomas Secula and his wife Sonia of Greenwich, NJ; his nieces and nephews, Emily Secula, Patrick Secula and his wife Danielle, Steven Secula and his wife Jamie, and Jon and Lindsey Secula, and Kevin and Kyle Krantz; his great nieces and nephews, Thomas, Connor, and Julia; his brothers and sisters in law, Kurt and Heidi Krantz of Bethlehem, and Caryn Olcik; his beloved shelties, Jonas and Judzea, and his cats Fawn and Teddy.
Visitation will be held on Friday September 6, 2019 from 5-7 p.m. at the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald-Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main Street, Naugatuck.
