Beacon Falls- Maria Lage, 72, of Beacon Falls, died Thursday, October 19th at St Mary's Hospital in Waterbury. She was the wife of Americo Lage .
Maria was born in Boticas, Portugal July 7th, 1945, daughter of the late Antonio and Amelia (Monteiro) Lopes. She worked as a housecleaner.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her sons and daughters in law Louis and Amy Lage of Beacon Falls and Fernando and Erin Lage of Seymour; brothers Antonio Lopes of Bridgeport and Paulo Lopes of Shelton: sisters Fatima Goncalves of Florida and Anna Kicher of Beacon Falls; grandchildren Fia , Felicia and Louis Edward Lage; and 7 great grandchildren
Funeral will leave Naugatuck Valley Memorial Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main Street Naugatuck Thursday at 9:00 A.M. for Our Lady of Fatima Church in Waterbury for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Naugatuck. Calling hours will be Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M.
