Susan (Stokes) Foster

Susan Stokes Foster, 72, of 19 Iris Way, Berlin, CT, passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at Middlesex Hospital. She was the loving wife of Earl Foster.

Born June 28, 1947 in Waterbury, she was the daughter of Adrian and Helen Stokes. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sister Nancy Stokes of Waterbury,cousin Jeannie Zaffarano and husband Joe of California, their children and grandchildren, cousins Dave Stokes, his wife Sue, Lissa Irvine and her husband Ray, Paul Stokes and his wife Lisa plus Dave and Lissa’s children.

She worked for many years at then Colonial Bank in Waterbury (now Bank of America), serving as Executive Assistant to the President. Sue met her future husband, Earl, at the Bank. They were married for 31 years.

Sue loved to cook and had a fantastic collection of cook books and kitchen gadgets. The kitchen was her favorite room in the house!

A memorial service and celebration of Susan’s life will be held at a future date. Contributions may be made in her name to Middlesex Hospital in Middletown.
