Theresa Dugals Obituary

Theresa Stokes Dugals, 94, of 38 Radnor Avenue, Naugatuck passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at Beacon Brooke Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Tad Dugals.

Born October 17, 1924 in Waterbury, daughter of the late John and Theresa (Lasky) Stokes. She was predeceased by her brother John Stokes Jr.  She is survived by her nephew Dave Stokes and his wife Sue, niece Lissa Irvine and her husband Ray, her nephew Paul Stokes and his wife Lisa, and her great nieces and nephews Lindsey Irvine, Chelsea Zachorewitz, her husband Justin and their daughter Lily, Nicholas Irvine, Jacob Stokes and Ben Stokes, her second cousins Nancy Stokes and Susan Stokes Foster and her husband Earl Foster.

Theresa retired from American Brass Company after 54 years of service. In retirement Theresa loved to spend time with family and friends in her favorite place, Bermuda. She was an avid gardener and she loved to travel, but her most treasured time was when she was hosting family celebrations in her beautiful home.

A Christian Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Church in Union City on April 23 at 11 am
