Albino Rego Obituary
DERBY- Albino Rego, of Naugatuck, 87, died Tuesday, February 14th, 2023 at Griffin Hospital in Derby. He was the husband of Ilda Rego.
Albino was born in Portugal December 27th, 1935, son of the late Albino da Costa Rego and Ermelinda da Costa Rego.
Albino worked in construction in New Haven until his retirement. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Fatima Church. He was a member of the Naugatuck Portuguese Club.
In addition to his wife, Albino is survived by his sons and daughters in law Serafine and Ceu Rego, Antonio and Cecilia Rego , Daniel Rego, and Andre and Lucia Rego; brother Celestino da Costa Rego, sisters Maria Alcina Texeira and Cacilda da Costa Rego; and grandchildren Paul, David, Catarina, Cristina and Susana Rego. He was predeceased by his brother Jose da Costa Rego and sister Teresa da Costa Afonso.
ARRANGEMENTS- Funeral will leave Naugatuck Valley Memorial Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main Street, Naugatuck Saturday February 18, 2023 at 10:30 A.M. for Our Lady of Fatima Church in Waterbury for Mass at 11:00. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Waterbury. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home from 8:30 to 10:30 A.M.
