WATERBURY- Antonio Correia, 85, of Naugatuck, died Sunday, February 19th, 2023 at Waterbury Hospital. He was the widow of Maria Cecilia (Malicia) Correia.
Antonio was born February 12th, 1938 in Salreu, Portugal, son of the late Maria Margarida Correia. He and his wife came to the United States in 1973 and settled in Naugatuck. He worked in Uniroyal and Century Brass as a forklift operator until his retirement. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Fatima Church. He enjoyed soccer, had a passion for food, and especially loved spending time with his family.
Antonio is survived by his daughters and sons in law Maria and John Rodrigues of Waterbury and Margaret and Frank DaSilva of Naugatuck; grandchildren Brian and Lauren Rodrigues of Cheshire, Thomas and Sherri DaSilva of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Katherine and Louis Rossi III of Wendell, North Carolina, Jessica Rodrigues and Daniel Rodrigues, both of Waterbury, and 9 great grandchildren.
