Elaine Soucie Obituary
Naugatuck-Elaine M. (Storer) Soucie, age 86, widow of Harold Soucie, passed away on Sunday May 17, 2020 at Waterbury Hospital.
Mrs. Soucie was born in Brooklyn, NY on April 22, 1934, daughter of the late William and Margaret (Nott) Storer. She was a longtime resident of Naugatuck and had worked at Uniroyal, Inc. and Bristol Babcock for many years. Elaine was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Naugatuck Senior Center, and Red Hats. She was an avid UCONN and New York Yankee fan, and enjoyed crafting.
She leaves her children, Roy Rostedt and his wife Louella of Oakville, and James Rostedt of Naugatuck; her daughters, Debra Irizarry and Lynn Marquis and her husband Leroy, all of Naugatuck; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren, her sister in law Lucille Storer, and several nieces and nephews. Elaine was predeceased by her brother Donald Storer.
