Linda R. DeCarlo

Naugatuck- Linda R. DeCarlo, 82, of Naugatuck, died peacefully December 30th, 2021 at St. Marys Hospital in Waterbury. 

Linda was born in Waterbury, Ct. August 28th, 1939, daughter of the late Domenic J. and Julia (Rosa) DeCarlo. She grew up in Naugatuck, CT, where she attended local schools and was a1957 graduate of Naugatuck High School. Linda worked for many years as an executive assistant until her retirement. She was a member of the Naugatuck Historical Society and a member of the 1957 Naugatuck High School 50th class reunion committee. She was a kind and caring family member and friend.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her sister Angela DeCarlo. She is also predeceased by her former husband Leonard Mangine. She is survived by her aunt, Virginia Orr of Middlebury, her step daughter and husband Patty and Mike Shea of Woodbury and several cousins and friends. 

A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday July 6, 2022 at 9 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 318 Church Street, Naugatuck.   Prayers will follow at Linda's grave site at St. James Cemetery immediately after the Mass.  A reception will follow at Jesse Camilles Restaurant, 615 Church Street, Naugatuck.  Arrangements entrusted to Naugatuck Valley Memorial / Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’sAssociation at act.alz.org.
