Rita H. (Haray) Stoffan

Naugatuck-Rita H. (Haray) Stoffan, age 81, passed away on Friday August 11, 2023 at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Born in Bridgeport, CT on December 15, 1941, she was the daughter of the late John and Rita (McMahon) Haray.  Rita was a longtime resident of Naugatuck and retired from both American Frozen Foods and Stop & Shop.  She enjoyed bingo and spending time with her family.

Rita leaves her family; sons Michael Stoffan of Naugatuck and Wayne Stoffan and his wife Alana of Trumbull; daughter RoseMarie Torok of Naugatuck; her grandchildren, Sean Stoffan and and his wife Jaclyn, Randy Torok, Joseph and Mathew Stoffan, and Kevin Stoffan II; her sister Maryann Koprivec of Fairfield; her brother Patrick Haray and his wife Denice of Stratford; and several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her son Kevin Stoffan.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday August 16, 2023 from 5-7 p.m. at the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main Street, Naugatuck.  Private burial will be in St. James Cemetery.  To send an on-line condolence, please visit www.naugatuckvalleymemorial.com
