Robert A. Monroe Obituary
Prospect-Robert A. Monroe, age 63, passed away on Thursday February 2, 2023 at John Dempsey Memorial Hospital in Farmington.
Born in Waterbury, CT on June 9, 1959, he was son of the late Jack A. and Grace D. (Hullstrunk) Monroe. Robert was a longtime resident of Prospect. He enjoyed karaoke, Dunkin Donuts coffee, and was an avid NASCAR fan. He took special care of his family and friends, and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Robert leaves his daughters Brittany Fanton and her husband Jason of Naugatuck, and Carrie Monroe; his beloved grandchildren Raymond and Riley; his sisters, June Rivera of Naugatuck, Holly Demers, and Pennie Monroe, both of Prospect; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday February 7, 2023 from 5-7 p.m. at the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main Street, Naugatuck.
