NAUGATUCK - Ann P. (Smith) Rozycki, 98, died peacefully in the early morning hours  Thursday,  July 10th, 2025 at Arden Court Memory Care in Avon.

 

Ann was born in the kitchen of her family’s home on Melbourne Street in Naugatuck, Ct. March  17th, 1927, daughter of the late William and Helen (Churik) Smith. She was a lifelong  resident of Naugatuck.

 

Ann  worked and retired from Peter Paul  after 37 years of service. She was a parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Church. Her main love and focus was on helping her family. Her happiest moments were spending time with them. She was always willing to help others as well, as anyone who knew her could attest.

 

Ann is survived by her daughter Carol Grenier of Barkhamsted  grandsons Peter Grenier of Louisiana and Dale Grenier of Barkhamsted, sister in law Dorothy (Dottie) Smith of Naugatuck, and numerous nieces and nephews

 

Ann was predeceased by her son Chester Rozycki,  brothers George Smith,  John Smith and Fred Marakinni, sister Julia Celello and grandson Ronald Grenier of Arizona.

 

ARRANGEMENTS - Funeral will leave the Naugatuck Valley Memorial Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main Street, Naugatuck Friday, July 18th, at 10:30 A.M. for St. Francis of Assisi Church in Naugatuck for Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00.
