Oxford - Ann M. (Bepko) Janovich, loving wife of the late Robert F. Janovich, passed away on Saturday April 25, 2026 at Waterbury Hospital. She was 87 years old.

Born in Bridgeport, CT on April 18, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Edward A. Bepko Sr. and Olga (Walytok) Bepko. Ann was raised in Bridgeport, attended local schools, and was a longtime resident of Oxford.  Throughout her life she worked as a secretary, and eventually retired from Waterbury Companies. Ann enjoyed shopping and dining out. Most of all she lived a life centered on family and love. 

She leaves her family to cherish her memory, her daughter Linda Lombardi and her husband Donald of Waterbury; her son Robert J. Janovich and his wife Nancy of Aberdeen, WA; her grandchildren, Lauren and Erkens Cyreku, Leah Zukauskas, Rhianne Janovich, Donnie Lombardi; her great grandchildren, Michael Pruchnicki, Benjamin Cyreku, Olivia Cyreku, Jacob Cyreku, Kayla Lombardi, Kyle Lombardi; and her niece, Doungjai Gam Bepko. Ann was predeceased by her brother Edward A Bepko Jr. and her nephew Edward A Bepko III. 

Known affectionately to many as “Grandma Anna” or “Gigi”, Ann will be remembered for her warmth, the way she valued her family, and her love of a good dessert. Her family will carry her memory forward with love always.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday May 1, 2026 at noon at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 318 Church Street in Naugatuck. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery. The Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main Street, Naugatuck, is assisting the family with arrangements.
