NAUGATUCK- Antonio Rodrigues Oliveira, 89, of Naugatuck, died Thursday, February 10th, 2022 at St. Marys Hospital in Waterbury. He was the widower of Deolinda F. (Alipio) Oliveira, his wife of 65 years.

Antonio was born Lousa, Coimbra, Portugal October 14th, 1932, son of the late Jose R. and Ana de Jesus Rodrigues Oliveira. He was employed as a union carpenter out of local # 24 Cheshire and worked  many years for Peter J.  Francini . He was a parisioner of Our Lady of Fatima Church and Blessed Sacrament Parish in Seminole,  Fl. He was a member of Clube Uniao Portuguesa of Naugatuck and the Portuguese Suncoast Association in St. Petersburg, Fl. He was an auxiliary police officer for the town of Naugatuck.

Antonio leaves his daughter Linda Costeira and her husband Frank of Naugatuck; son Anthony Oliveira and his wife Katherine of Bethlehem; his grandchildren Nicholas Costeira, Elizabeth Costeira , Joseph Oliveira and Jordonna Oliveira. He was predeceased by his brother Abel Rodrigues and his sister Aurora Almeida.

Arrangements- Funeral will leave the Naugatuck Valley Memorial Funeral Home, 240 North Main Street, Naugatuck, Thursday , February 17th, 2022 at 10:30 A.M for Our Lady of Fatima Church Waterbury for Mass at 11:00.
