NAUGATUCK - Avelino M. Jimenez, 89, of Naugatuck, died Wednesday, July 15th, 2026 at Waterbury Hospital. He was the widow of Lourdes (Marcos) Jimenez.
Avelino was born November 10, 1936 In San Fernando, Philippines son of the late Daniel and Elena Jimenez. He was employed as Warehouse Manager at Colorite Plastic Co. in New Jersey until his retirement. Avelino is survived by daughters Elena Nelsen of South Salem NY, Victoria Jimenez of Danbury and Michelle Jimenez of Naugatuck and four grandchildren.
ARRANGEMENTS - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, July 22nd, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Vincent Ferrer Church, New Haven Road, Naugatuck, Ct. 06770. Friends are asked to meet directly at church. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Cross Street, Naugatuck. There are no calling hours. Arrangements have been entrusted to Naugatuck Valley Memorial Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main Street, Naugatuck, Ct. 06770.
