Prospect - Beverly (Krasinsky) Rek, 79, of Prospect, died Thursday, April 15th, 2021 at VITASHospice in Waterbury. She was the loving wife of Stanley C. Rek Sr. for 57 years.
Beverly was born in Waterbury March 6th, 1942, daughter of the late Frank and Pauline (Perock) Krasinsky. She was a graduate of Naugatuck High School class of 1960. She last worked at Dufour Brothers Bus Company as an aide for special needs children.
Beverly was a very active member of the Eagles Club, serving in multiple officer positions over the years. She was also one of the founders of the Naugatuck High School Quarterback Club, and a diehard Greyhound Booster. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially with her four grandchildren.
In addition to her loving husband Stanley, Beverly leaves a son, Stanley C. “Chuck” Rek Jr. of Prospect; daughter, Veronica Rek and Harvey Hall of Waterbury; daughter, Trisha Oliver and her husband Ron of Manchester, grandchildren Daniel Rek, Chaz and Erika Hall, and Blake Oliver; sister Patricia DelBuono of Florida and several nieces and nephews. A special thanks to Beverly’s goddaughter Gayle Rek for her aid and assistance.
Arrangements: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, April 21st at 10:00 A.M. at St.Anthony’s Church in Prospect. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Naugatuck.
