Claude N. Lyons, Jr.

Prospect-Claude N. Lyons, Jr., age 65, passed away peacefully on Sunday September 4, 2022 at his residence.

Born in Waterbury, CT on April 1, 1957, he was the son of Annabelle (Dollinger) Lyons of Cheshire and the late Claude N. Lyons, Sr.  Claude graduated from Wilcox Technical School in Meriden, retired from Sikorsky Aircraft after 15 years of service, and had also worked at Consolidated Industries for 10 years.   He volunteered as a Cub Scout leader for many years with his sons.  He was a member of the Waterbury Elks Lodge 265, RPMC, Bristol Fish and Game Club, and HighRiders Snowmobile Club.  Claude enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, ATVing, motorcycling, and spending quality time with his sons, who he was very proud of.

Besides his mother, he leaves his family, his sons Christopher Lyons, Richard Lyons, and Nickalaus Lyons; his brother David Lyons; his sister Ruth Clark; his three granddaughters, Abbygale, Margaret, and Brianna Lyons;  several nieces, nephews, cousins and many lifelong friends.  Claude was predeceased by his brother John Lyons.

His funeral will be held on Saturday September 10, 2022, at 10 a.m. the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald-Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main Street, Naugatuck.  Burial will follow in Grove Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Friday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.  To send an on-line condolence, please visit www.naugatuckvalleymemorial.com
