NAUGATUCK- Czesław Tabor, 76, of Naugatuck, beloved husband of Krystyna (Janiszewski) Tabor, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on October 6th, 2023 at Waterbury Hospital.
Czeslaw was born in Radwan, Poland, son of the late Wladyslaw and Waleria (Starosciak) Tabor. Czeslaw came to America, where he met his wife Krystyna to whom he was married to for 41 amazing years. He truly loved his wife and his 3 children while being proud of their accomplishments. Czeslaw loved plants, building things with his hands, singing, and playing cards. He enjoyed visiting Poland and reconnecting with family and friends. Czeslaw was liked by everyone, always willing to help others. He worked at Cadi Company in Naugatuck for almost 30 years, until his retirement. He was a hardworking employee who was trusted and respected by his colleagues. He wanted to make sure he was able to consistently provide for his family. He was also a member of the Polish National Alliance.
In addition to his wife, Czeslaw is survived by two sons and daughters in law: Robert (Karen) Tabor of Naugatuck and Gregory (Ela) Tabor of Monroe; daughter and son in law Jessica (Wojtek) Zalewski of Oxford; his sisters Genowefa Taraska and Maria Kubek, both of Poland; his niece Ela Kubek of Florida; several nieces and nephews in Poland and seven grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sister Izabella Tabor.
ARRANGEMENTS- Funeral will leave Naugatuck Valley Memorial Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main Street, Naugatuck Wednesday October 11, 2023 at 10:30 A.M. for St. Francis Church in Naugatuck for Mass at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Naugatuck. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M..
