David S. Lineweber

David Scott Lineweber, 60, passed peacefully on March 26, 2023. David was born in Waterbury, CT on June 2, 1962, to the late Harold E Lineweber Sr & Gloria Kim (Drummond) Lineweber.

David was raised in Naugatuck, where he graduated from Naugatuck High School. He started working for the family business at a young age, alongside his father and brothers. He later became co-owner and operator of G&L Excavating, Inc.  Dave loved his work and the many friends and colleagues he had the pleasure of making and working with through the years.

In addition to his wife, Cynthia and daughter Julia, he leaves his brother Jeffrey Lineweber, sisters-in-law, Karen Lineweber, Terri Grabowski (William), Catherine Brelsford (Scott), Beth Fitzgerald (Jeff), brothers-in- law, Philip Cyr, Robert Cyr (Patricia), Paul Cyr. Also, nieces and nephews,  Katie, Jason, Shelby, Erica, Brian, Ashley, Lindsey, Jesse, Nicole, Jonathon, Leah, Sean, Shane, Alexandra, Luke, Nathan, Sarah, Shauna and Ariana, several great nieces and nephews as well as aunts, uncles cousins and friends.  David was predeceased by his brother Harold E. Lineweber, Jr., J. Philip Cyr (father-in-law), Marjorie (Sullivan) Cyr (mother-in-law), Deborah Goss (sister-in-law), and Wayne Goss (brother-in-law)

A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
