Naugatuck-Dennis J. McFarlin Sr., age 80, beloved husband of Edith (Arnold) McFarlin, passed away on Friday March 28, 2025 at West Haven Veterans Administration Medical Center.

He was born Waterbury, CT April 2, 1944, son of the late Francis and Jennie (Zigadto) McFarlin.  Dennis was a longtime Naugatuck resident and retired form Scovill Manufacturing/Century Brass in Waterbury.  He was a proud veteran of the United States Army.  He enjoyed yard work, watching wrestling and old western movies , and was an avid UCONN Basketball fan.

Predeceased by his son Dennis McFarlin, Jr., he leaves behind Edith his loving wife of 58 years,  his children Daniel McFarlin and his wife Catherine of Naugatuck, Denise Savoy and her husband Dennis of Ruskin, FL, Dean McFarlin and his partner Amanda Ney of Watertown, his five grandchildren;  his sister Edna Hemstock; and several nieces and nephews.
