Naugatuck-Diane B. (Biel) Morelli, age 73, passed away at her home on Wednesday May 20, 2026.

She was born in Schenectady, NY on September 121, 1952, a daughter of the late John and Jane (Waldron) Biel.  She was a former school teacher while she lived in Texas, before retiring and eventually moving to Naugatuck.  Diane was passionate about teaching math and science and always formed a lasting bond with her students.  She enjoyed reading, camping and travelling.

She leaves her family to cherish her memory, her son Bret Morelli and his wife Christine Vrablic of Naugatuck; and her loving granddaughter Ariebella Vrablic-Morelli.  Diane was predeceased by her granddaughter Katya Dyanne Vrablic-Morelli.
