Dolores Woermer Obituary

Waterbury-Dolores (Ruela) Woermer, age 69, loving wife of James J. Woermer, passed away at St. Mary’s Hospital on Monday January 18, 2021.

 

Born in Waterbury, CT on March 31, 1951, she was the daughter of Dolores (Recio) Ruela of Naugatuck and the late Manuel E. Ruela, Jr.  Dolores was raised in Naugatuck and lived in Waterbury for the past six years.  She had retired from Collins Aerospace in Cheshire after many years of service.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her precious grandchildren.

 

In addition to her husband Jim and her mother, she leaves her son Daniel J. Woermer of Naugatuck; her sister Diane (Ruela) Texiera of Naugatuck; her four grandchildren; Shaylee and Ryann Woermer, Ace Woermer, and Paeytn Woermer; several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives.  Dolores was predeceased by her son Stephen J. Woermer.

 

Walkthrough visitation will be held on Friday January 22, 2021 from 5-7 p.m. at the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald-Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main Street, Naugatuck.  Burial will be private.  Facial coverings and social distancing guidelines will be required.  To send an on-line condolence, please visit www.naugatuckvalleymemorial.com
