Southbury-Donald Morris, age 92, passed away on Sunday May 15, 2022 at Riverglen Health Care.
Born in Pennsylvania on July 24, 1929, he was the son of the late Walter and Margaret (Zaher) Morris. Don retired from Alves Precision Engineered Products as a tool and die maker. He grew up in New York and resided in Bantam Village for many years. He was an avid outdoorsman, and he enjoyed fishing, bird watching, vegetable gardens, and watching the garden grow. Donald was a proud Korean War Army veteran and a true patriot who loved his country. He had the best sense of humor.
Donald is survived by his sister Connie Valunas of Oakville; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday July 9, 2022 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Magdalene Church, 16 Buckingham Street in Oakville, followed by burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
