Naugatuck-Edward A. Bepko,  Jr., loving husband of Sanit (Narmwisate) Bepko, passed away peacefully on Monday January 19, 2026 at Complete Care at Glendale.  He was 88 years old.


Born in Bridgeport, CT on May 29, 1937, he was the son of the late Edward A. Bepko, Sr. and Olga Helen (Walytok) Bepko.  He was raised in Stratford and was a longtime resident of Naugatuck.  Ed joined the Air Force after high school and was stationed in many places, including Colorado, Puerto Rico, Laos, Thailand, and New Jersey. By the time of his retirement in 1979, he had achieved the rank of E-8 Master Sergeant. He retired from the United States Postal Service in 2012.  He was a collector of coins and enjoyed building model trains.  He was a lifelong New York Yankees fan and enjoyed bringing his family to the games and baseball card shows where they met several of the greats. 


In addition to his wife Sanit, he leaves his daughter Doungjai Gam Bepko and her fiancée Edward Zimmerman of Wallingford; his sister Anne Marie Janovich of Oxford; his niece Linda Lombardi; his nephew Bobby Janovich; and many grandnieces, grandnephews, and cousins.  Ed was predeceased by his son Edward A. Bepko, III.
