NAUGATUCK - Eleanor Pastuszak, 82, of Naugatuck, died peacefully January 6th, 2025 at Beacon Brook Health Center. 

 

Eleanor  was born in Nanticoke, Pa. September 7th, 1941, daughter of the late Al and Victoria (Ulanoski) Pastuszak. She moved to Connecticut after graduating high school in 1959.

 

Eleanor was  employed as assistant manager at the Dollar Tree Store in Naugatuck before her retirement. She was also a store manager at Kings Department Store, and worked for Ames Department Stores remodeling team. She enjoyed her family, and watching baseball and basketball. She was a fan of the New York Yankees and the Tennessee Volunteers Girls Basketball team.

 

Eleanor’s family would like to thank Beacon Brook Health Center and their dedicated employees for the kindness and care she was shown during her time there.

 

Eleanor leaves her sister Myra McGettigan of Waterbury; brother and sister in law Michael and Doreen Pastuszak of Pennsylvania; three nephews, four nieces, five great nephews and three great nieces; she was predeceased by her sisters Patricia Moyer and Lisa Berry, nephew Patrick McGettigan and niece Victoria Buckman.

 

 

ARRANGEMENTS - A graveside service will be announced in the spring. Arrangements have been entrusted to Naugatuck Valley Memorial Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North  Main Street Naugatuck, Ct. 06770.
