Naugatuck-Elisa (Garcia) Toro, age 87, passed away at her home on Thursday May 19, 2022.

She was born in the Dominican Republic on December 10, 1934, daughter of the late Victorino and Martina (Gonzalez) Garcia.   Elisa lived with her daughter in Naugatuck for the past year and had worked as a home attendant.  She was a truly kind person who enjoyed music and especially her family.

Elisa leaves her children, Deyaniva de carmen Ovalles Guzman, Luis Benjamin Guzman, Alina Mercedes Guzman, Jose Manuel Guzman, and Marta Josefin Burgos; her 16 granchildren; her great grandchildren; her siblings of the Dominican Republic; and many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her daughter Jocelyn Rodriguez.
