WATERBURY- Frank L. Panaroni, 85, of Waterbury, passed away Friday, December 29, 2023.
Frank was born In New Haven on February 18, 1938, son of the late Francis and Mary (Francione) Panaroni. A veteran of the United States Navy, he worked in many fields prior to his retirement, including commercial flooring, human services, and limousine driving. He was a parishioner of St. Michael’s Episcopal Church in Naugatuck. He loved to travel and made a bucket list trip to Italy in 2022 compliments of his grandson, Ryan. He was fond of daily trips to Dunkin, going to restaurants, and all things Broadway and Times Square. He was always willing to help out his family and friends in any way he could. His greatest joy in life, however, was his family. He was his daughter’s and grandsons’ biggest fan and his love and support for them was always evident and felt. Conversations always ended with a heartfelt “I love you”.
Frank will be dearly missed by his devoted daughter, Donna DeSantis of Wolcott, his cherished grandsons, Ryan, Evan, Bryce, Garrett, and Myles Austin of Wolcott, his adored nieces Lisa Fertman and family of Aurora, CO, and Patty Antonopoulos and family of West Haven, his special nephew, Joseph DeMaio and family of Saint Mary’s, GA, extended family members Roberta Linares and family of Hartford and John Grazioli of Seymour and a host of other friends and relatives, including Greg Waller of Scottsdale, AZ.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to “Smiley”, Frank’s caregiver in the last few weeks of his life, whose attentiveness and compassion were a true blessing to both Frank and his family.
He was predeceased by his wife, Lynn (Austin) Panaroni, and his siblings, Anthony Panaroni, Peter Panaroni, and LucyDeMaio.
