Waterbury-Gloria E. (McCormack) Matteau, age 67, loving wife of Robert Matteau, Sr., passed away at Waterbury Hospital on Thursday September 22, 2022.

Born in New York on September 15, 1955, she was the daughter of the late James McCormack and Gloria (Thayer) Funk. Gloria was a longtime resident of Waterbury.

Besides her husband Robert, she is survived by her family, her son Robert Matteau, Jr., her daughter Regina Grant; her three grandchildren, James Grant III, Matthew Grant, and William Powers;

her sisters Dorothy Locke Harrison, Nancy Locke Bowser, and Susan Lucchesi; her brother James Patrick McCormack; her niece Laura Matteau of Waterbury; her nephews Dennis Matteau, Jr. and Michael King, both of Waterbury; her in laws, Dennis and Amy Matteau, and Michael and Sandra and King, all of Waterbury; and several cousins.
