Naugatuck-Harold C. “Butch” Gunther, Jr., age 84, beloved husband of Joann (Godfrey) Gunther, passed away at Griffin Hospital on November 30, 2021.

 

Born in Norwalk, CT on October 16, 1937, he was the son of the late Harold C. Gunther, Sr., and Margaret (Torok) Gunther. Harold was a self -employed carpenter who could fix almost anything.  He loved trips to Atlantic City, stock car racing, and was well known for mastering the game of jarts.  “To know him was to love him.”

 

Besides his wife Joann of 60 years, he leaves his sisters, Helen Dominick and Ruth Vadas; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
