Helen Stopper Obituary

Naugatuck-Helen (Bodie) Stopper, age 82, widow of Ralph M. Stopper, passed away on Saturday March 13, 2021 at Abbott Terrace Health Center.

 

She was born in Bridgeport, CT on August 26, 1938, a daughter of the late Louis and Helen (Chic)Bodie.  She was a longtime resident of Naugatuck.  Helen also spent many years in Lakeland Florida.  She  enjoyed music, dining with friends, and spending time with her family.

 

Helen is survived by her children; three sons Ralph Stopper and his wife Debbie of Watertown, Steven Stopper and his companion Jill of Naugatuck, and Gerald Stopper and his wife Griffin of Norwalk;  her daughter Susan Zito and her companion Craig of Middletown; her grandchildren Steven Stopper, Jr. and his wife Danielle and Mathew Zito;  her sister Gerry Paolillo and her husband Michael of Cheshire; and several nieces and nephews.
