WATERBURY- Irene Marie (Pelletier) Pinto, 75, of Waterbury, died peacefully March 31st, 2026 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Irene was born in Fort Kent , Maine January 26th, 1951, daughter of the late Phydime and Adeline (Ouellette) Pelletier. She worked as a baker and as lunch lady at Pomperaug High School before her retirement . She was very devoted to her family.
She is survived by her daughter Susan Marie Roe of Clermont Florida, son Daniel Albert Pinto of Waterbury, husband Albert Pinto of Waterbury, brothers Donald, Ronald, Frederick, Richard, Robert and Andrew Pelletier, sisters Pauline Boucher, Gloria Graziano, Deborah Laliberte, and Bernadette D’Alessio, granddaughters Stephanie Roe and Natalie Irene Pinto, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters Claudette Gillett and Patricia Pelletier and brothers Joseph, Carl and Phillip Pelletier.
