NAUGATUCK- James R .Beebe , 81, of Naugatuck, died Monday, October 9th, 2023 at Lutheran Home in Southbury. He was the widower of Irma (Burdorf) Beebe.
James was born in New London August 19th, 1942, son of the late Horace and Edna (Greig) Beebe. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.He worked as a service technician at Huntington Power Equipment before his retirement. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Oxford and also an active member of the Naugatuck senior center.
James leaves his son Tony Beebe of Oceanside, Ca.; daughters Melissa Christiana of Bristol and Teresa Clouse of Branford; Survived by brother Alan Beebe of Saugerties, N.Y.; sisters Elizabeth McIntyre of Dublin, N.H. and Jeanne Bearor of Peterboro, N.H.; his grandchildren Meghan, Benjamin and Avery and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by brother Kenneth Beebe of Vineyard Haven, MA.
