Naugatuck-James Walter Jagello, age 75, passed away at his home on Friday December 12, 2025.

Born in Waterbury, CT on January 27, 1950, he was son of the late Walter A. and Barbara (Potz) Jagello.  He was a longtime resident of Naugatuck and a graduate of Naugatuck High School.  Jim retired from Carby Corporation in Watertown.  He enjoyed golfing with his brothers and nephew and was member of Hop Brook Golf Course.  He loved horror movies, painting, gardening, fishing, all sports and was a huge fan of the San Francisco 49 ers.  Jim was an avid collector of  memorabilia.  He was an active member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 640 in Naugatuck.  He was very close to his nieces and nephew and often attended their sporting events.

He leaves his family to honor his memory, brothers Jon Jagello and his wife Stacy and  Walter Jagello and his wife Amanda, all of Naugatuck; his nephew Derrick Jagello and nieces Phoebe and Emma Jagello, and many close friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday December 18, 2025 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the  Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main Street, Naugatuck.  Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery.
