TERRYVILLE- John Anthony Lang, 55, of Terryville, formerly of Naugatuck, died suddenly Thursday July 23rd, 2020 at Bristol Hospital.
John was born in Waterbury October 12th, 1964, son of the late James L. and Lucilia( Goncalves) Lang Sr. He was a graduate of Naugatuck High School, class of 1982, a member of the NHS Marching Band and the Prospect Drum Corp. He worked as a truck driver for Bozzutos, and formerly drove for Carlisle Trucking and Andreuccis.
John was an awesome drummer in several bands over the years, including Moments Notice and Bounty Hunter, and enjoyed jamming on the weekends with Chris Po and Rob Spallone. He enjoyed also loved riding his Harley Davidson with his bike buddies including Alex and Tommy. His infectious laugh and dry humor will be missed by all.
John is survived by his brother and sister in law James L. Lang Jr. and Susan Ayotte-Lang of Myrtle Beach, S.C., sister Judy L. Rostedt of Waterbury aunt Sophie Goncalves and uncle Donald L. Lang Sr, both of Florida, nieces and nephews Kristen (Gil), Kimberly (Frankie), Nikki-Lee, Sydney, Steven (Christine), and cousins Linda, Frank, Donald, Tracy, Scott, Sheryl L. ,Sheryl M., Elaine and Auggie, Michael and Anthony.
Arrangements: Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at St. James Cemetery, Cross Street in Naugatuck, CT..
