NAUGATUCK  - It is with deep sadness that we announce that John (Jack) Walsh, age 75, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 29th, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Jack was born in Waterbury Ct. July 7th, 1949, son of Evelyn Walsh Brown and the late William J. Walsh Sr. He was a graduate of Wolcott High School and attended Waterbury Technical College.

After graduating high school he joined the Air National Guard in 1967 proudly serving his country.  Jack then went to work with his father at the family factory. He later was employed as a mechanical engineer at several other factories.

Jack loved cars, sports and family gatherings. He excelled at racquetball and golf, and passed his love of sports to his sons.

In addition to his mother Evelyn, Jack is survived by his sons  Matthew (Traci Fournier), Michael (Christina Loughlin), his five grandchildren Colin, Cameron, Jack, Kylie and Logan, sisters Linda Donnelly, Peggy Walsh and her wife Nancy Traver, and Wendy Meagher and her husband Bill, nephews Joseph Meagher and Robert Donnelly, niece Jessica Meagher, and former wife Sandra Forino Walsh Beyer. He was predeceased by brother William J. Walsh Jr., his beloved son John J. Walsh and his grandson Joseph Walsh.

Special thanks to Complete Care at Glendale. Nurses, Aides, PT and even cleaners all treated Jack like family. He was loved by all who met him. He loved all his friends at Robert Hutt Congregate Housing as well.

ARRANGEMENTS - . A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St Francis of  Assisi Church Saturday, April 5th, 2025 at 10:00 A.M . Friends are asked to meet directly at church. Burial with military honors will follow in Old Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury. Contributions: American Parkinson's Disease Association CT chapter at apdaparkinson.org.
